Health Science Center Dental Branch at Houston, one of the best in the country.

and thorough examination, he reviews and discusses the diagnosis and treatment
options that best suit your needs.
Outside the

“I want to not only fulfill
my patients’ needs, but exceed their expectations while rejuvenating their
smiles.”
Dr.
Hawthorne grew up in Temple, Texas. She became interested in dentistry through
her father, who is an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon in Abilene, Texas. It was
during her high school and college summers while working in her father’s office
that she grew to love the art and science of dentistry.
Graduating from Southern Methodist University with a degree in Trumpet
Performance, Dr. Hawthorne went on to Houston Baptist University to receive her
post- baccalaureate degree to prepare her for dental school. She is a 2005
graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. Hawthorne has been married to her
husband Andy, a general surgeon, since 1999. They had their daughter, Brooklynn,
in July of 2006.
After
several years in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth area, Dr. Hawthorne and her husband are
thrilled to return to Central Texas. Outside the office Dr. Hawthorne enjoys
Texas Longhorn football and baseball, shopping and spending time with family and
friends. She and her husband love snow skiing in the amazing powder of Park
City, Utah, snorkeling in the exotic Cayman Islands, and playing with their
daughter, Brooklynn.
Joining
the Steiner Dental team in November 2007, Dr. Hawthorne enjoys seeing patients
fall in love with their smile again and have that smile last them a lifetime.
She believes that one of the most important aspects of dentistry is to take care
of her patients by providing them the best that dentistry has to offer. She is
committed to this philosophy by learning new and exciting techniques through
continuing education seminars. Currently, Dr. Hawthorne is attending a
series of post graduate courses at the Las Vegas Institute. A leader in post
